Teenager dies when car hits tree - Monday 10 November 2008
A teenage girl was killed when the car in which she was a passenger left the road and hit a tree in Bedfordshire.
The 17-year-old from Luton was in a Citroen C4 which came to rest in a field before catching on fire. Police, fire and ambulance officers attended but the girl was pronounced dead at the scene. A 24-year-old man who was driving the car suffered serious injuries in the crash.
