Dangerous roads on sat-nav - Saturday 5 July 2008
The European Road Assessment Program (EuroRAP) has a risk map of the most dangerous roads
Sat-nav manufacturers could use the map to inform drivers of the safety rating of the road they are currently on. The most dangerous road is currently the A537 between Macclesfield and Buxton, nicknamed the Cat and Fiddle, which had 21 serious or fatal collisions between 2004 and 2006.
