Volvo overload - Thursday 26 June 2008
A man has been found guilty of dangerous driving whilst having 13 people in his Volvo
The 31 year old man was given a 12 month driving ban, £900 fine and costs and ordered to do an extended driving test. His Volvo, designed to carry no more than 5 passengers, had an adult and child sitting in the passenger seat, two women and infants on their laps in the back and six other young children sitting or standing in the middle of the back seat. Police stopped him after seeing the 'serious dramatic overloading' of his Volvo. | | |
