The owner of a Ford Fiesta cut his car in half after it was clamped
His car was registered to be off the road but a DVLA official noted that the rear wheel was slightly over a footpath and clamped the vehicle. When they returned to remove the car, Mr Taylor responded by sawing the car in half with a disc cutter and asked if they would like to take the part of the car which was breaching the law. The DVLA removed the clamp and left Mr Taylor with both halves of his car. | | |
