Competition Rules

Every competition must have rules and we have already experienced enough false attempts to claim prizes to know that our genuine winners need to be protected. This competition is open to UK residents only. Overseas entries will not be considered.

The winning number is displayed on our website and is changed every Friday at 9.00am. To claim the prize you must, before the number changes, either:

• show the card to an authorised person at Motor Defence Team; or
• ring in with the number where this has been pre-registered.

Where claiming the prize contact should, in the first instance, be made by telephone between the hours of 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday on 0800 2800 912.

Once the number has changed no claim can be brought under a previous winning number. If you do not claim the prize before a new number is publicised on the Motor Defence Team website you will be deemed to have forfeited the prize.

For pre-registered cards you must notify us of the win before the number changes and then send in your card along with photo ID (passport or driving licence) within 2 weeks thereafter. If you do not want your photo ID picture to go on the website you can also send in an alternative to be used.

If your card is not pre-registered you must send in the same documentation to claim your prize but it must arrive before the number changes.

On receipt of a valid prize claim you will be contacted to arrange your track day, confirming your choice of vehicle (motorcycle or car), venue and date. There is no cash alternative. Track days are undertaken at your own risk and you will have to sign a disclaimer to that effect.

Details of the winner are published on our website and it is a condition of collection of the prize that you consent to this.

Motor Defence Team does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to the internet or postal service. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.

Motor Defence Team provide a winning number notification service. No liability or responsibility is accepted for notifying entrants of the winning number and pre-registration of a card places no obligation on Motor Defence Team to identify or notify the winner of the fact that their number has been drawn.

The competition must be entered into in the utmost good faith by all parties. If, in the opinion of the partners of Motor Defence Team, there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that the winning ticket has been obtained improperly or tampered with it shall be held invalid and their decision as to its validity shall be final. Fraudulent attempts to claim the prize will be reported to the police.

Motor Defence Team are authorised to use entrants' personal details for the purposes of administering this competition and for marketing purposes only. They will not publish them or provide them to anyone without your permission.

Any decision of the partners of Motor Defence Team with regard to application of these rules is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.

This competition is not open to employees or contractors of Motor Defence Team, their family or friends.

Motor Defence Team reserves the right to cancel this competition at any time. These rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agreed to be bound by them when entering this competition.
