Road safety comparison
The DfT have a website where the public can see statistics for road safety on a Local Highways Authorities (LHA) basis
The site, http://road-collisions.dft.gov.uk, aims to provide detailed information in an accessible way so that members of the public can assess the performance of their LHA road safety track record. The data is made available in pure form, or through the use of interactive accident maps or comparison indicators.
Another website, the http://www.roadsafetyobservatory.com aims to provide free access to road safety research and information to the public and anyone working within road safety. This site is part of the Government’s Strategic Framework for Road Safety.
