Police lorries catch out motorists texting whilst driving

Police in South Yorkshire are using an unmarked lorry to get a better view of motorists who may be texting whilst driving

The higher driving position in a lorry cab gives the undercover Police a better view of motorists who may be trying to conceal their texting habit whilst at the wheel. The operation is named Jemma Bear after a 22-year-old was killed by a lorry driver texting whilst on cruise control.
