Scotland Government looks to lower drink drive limit

Plans to cut the drink drive limit from the existing 80mg per 100ml of blood to 50mpg

If the proposals went ahead this will bring Scotland in-line with the drink limits in Spain, France and Germany.

Road Safety charity, Brake, is calling for a zero limit, based on a 50mg limit being confusing for motorists and sending “mixed messages” that drinking and driving is acceptable.
