New EU tyre labelling regulations

New EU regulations for the labelling of light trucks and passenger vehicle tyres comes into force on 1st November 2012

The new labelling will already look familiar as it is already used on household appliances and new cars. It has been designed to inform consumers of the efficiency and tyre safety, graded from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient) and noise impact of new tyres graded in 3 steps. The benefit for consumers is that the information will provide them with the right information they need to make the correct tyre choice.
