BMW recalls 100,000 cars
BMW has been forced to recall 100,000 cars due to electrical faults
1.3 million 5 Series and 6 Series cars are being recalled worldwide, with 109,000 in the UK due to an incorrectly fitted battery cable cover which could cause starting problems and in extreme cases could cause a fire.
The issue came to light after complaints from customers. No accidents have yet been reported to BMW.
