Still driving with 12 points or more

Data from the DVLA reveals that there are 10,000 drivers still driving with 12 points or more.

Out of the 10,000, those that have 25 points or more have a range of offences from uninsured driving, mobile phone, speeding and driving without due care and attention. Normally when a motorist reaches 12 points they face a totting disqualification, usually 6 months.Arguments of Exceptional hardship can be put forward in situations where a driver is facing disqualification as a result of totting.
