Ride to Arrive Motorcycle safety scheme

Avon and Somerset Police force are running several weekends in 2011 of motorcycle safety skills training

The following event dates have been booked for the Ride to Arrive weekends which will take place at their Portishead HQ:

  • 8-10 April
  • 13-15 May
  • 16-18 September

An additional schedule of one-day events costing £20 each is to be held at the following locations:

  • Taunton April 17th
  • Radstock 8th May
  • Bristol 24th July
  • Yeovil 21st August
  • Weston-super-Mare September 25th
  • Kingswood October 2nd

Saturday June 4th all of the South West regional Police forces will be at Castle Combe race track for the Bikesafe Track Experience and Motorcycle Show.

    If these courses are anything like the Performance Plus courses run by the Lincolnshire Police then have a go.

    These guys really know their onions and, when training, instead of policing, they are a mine of very useful information.
