The most common instance where Notice is served is an NIP for speeding. There is an NIP time limit that applies of 14 days from the offence. Yet another example of ‘Tax Gathering’ hiding behind the Nanny State cry of ‘It’s for your own safety.’ The wearing or not wearing of seatbelts, or protective clothing, should be up to the individual. Think about it, slowly, bit by bit, all our freedom is being taken away from us and we are becoming a nation of pap-fed, mollycoddled, spineless weaklings, wrapped in clinically sterilised cotton wool, whose every thought and action is controlled by others who think they know what is ‘Best’ for us. Oddly I would belt-up and I never ride without protective clothing but the choice should be mine not that of some spineless, gutless, wimp of a PC Civil Servant.
