Coach driver suspended for reading at the wheel
The driver of a National Express bus was filmed driving along a stretch of dual carriageway, reading a bookThe one minute video which was posted on YouTube clearly shows the driver reading whilst driving the coach with his elbows in Birmingham. Disciplinary action is being taken against the driver by National Express. The person who filmed the event said the driver didn’t even put the book down when pulling up to bus stops.
