Footprints led Police to drink driver

A Wisconsin man who claimed his car had been stolen was arrested on drink driving charge

The man called the Police at 2.30 in the morning claiming that his car had been stolen from the local bar. When Police arrived at the scene they found his car half a mile from the bar embedded in snow. They followed some footprints back from the car to the bar only to find that they matched the man’s shoes. The 42 year old now faces 3 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. This was his 5th drink driving incident.
